He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Tenth Circuit, the Choctaw Nation, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the California Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Choctaw Nation Bar Association, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Bar Association. Since 2000, Blake’s practice has primarily consisted of banking and financial institution litigation, real estate litigation, title insurance defense, and commercial and residential evictions. Blake also has extensive appellate experience, with six reported cases in the area of mortgage foreclosure and title related issues. Blake has been a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on real estate, mortgage banking and servicing, and title insurance relating topics, most recently speaking at the 2024 Oklahoma Judicial Conference Annual Meeting on the topic of “avoiding land mines and reversals in judicial foreclosures.” He is also currently recognized as a Best Lawyer in America in the practice areas of Finance, Banking and Finance Litigation, and Real Estate Litigation.Current Employment Position(s):
