Attorney Kendra L. Carpenter
Kendra is certified as a family law specialist by the Ohio Bar Association and has earned other accolades including: Columbus Business First Forty Under 40, Columbus CEO Top Attorneys in Family Law, and Ohio Super Lawyer. She serves as Vice Chair on the Ohio State Bar Association's Family Law Committee that heads the charge in family law reform. She is also a certified member and founding board member of the American Academy of Certified Financial Litigators.
In addition, Kendra authors two chapters on shared parenting and custody in the only Statewide Family Law treatise relied upon by attorneys throughout Ohio and others across the nation seeking information about Ohio family law. Also, Kendra serves on an Ohio Supreme Court Committee that is amending a legal manual upon which Ohio Family Law judges rely.
Kendra is certified by the Ohio Supreme Court as a custody guardian ad litem and a parenting coordinator. She believes that parents should start off on equal footing and that it is in the best interest of every child to have the support and love of both parents without exclusion by the other.
After earning her B.A. from Purdue University, Kendra spent several years in the professional world before she entered law school. She earned she earned her law decree, magna cum laude from The Capital University Law School and was awarded the Order of the Barrister and Order of the Curia along with other awards for her trial and oralist skills.
