Anthony Martoccia

Tony’s legal career came full circle in September 2015 when he came back to the Stanley Law Offices after 12 years with another firm.

Tony’s first stint at the Stanley Law Offices was in 2000 when he worked as an intern during his second year of studies at Syracuse University’s College of Law. He continued with the Stanley Law Offices through graduation and for a short time as a first year attorney. It was here where Tony discovered his passion for personal injury litigation, gaining invaluable experience which became a foundation for his litigation career. He admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of New York and also a member of the New York State Bar Association.

After leaving Stanley Law Offices in 2003 Tony joined McMahon, Kublick & Smith, P.C., an injury law firm in Syracuse. In 2009 he became a shareholder and eventually headed the firm’s Personal Injury Litigation Group.

Tony’s entire career has focused on representing injured people. He has and continues to represent all types of clients in personal injury law suits throughout New York State in both the State and Federal courts systems. Stephanie is a life long resident of Central NY. She earned a BA in Political Science from Ithaca College and attended Syracuse University earning her law degree and Masters of Public Administration. She is licensed to practice in all New York State and Federal Trial Courts. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Onondaga county Bar Association and the NYSLTA Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Stephanie has been representing individuals hurt in the car accidents, premise cases, medical malpractice, and construction accident for over 25 years. She has a proven track record of successful jury verdicts.

Thomas Welch

Thomas Welch is a life-long resident of the Syracuse area, presently residing in the City of Syracuse with his wife Kimberly.  He has spent the last twenty-five years representing injured clients before state and federal courts.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked as an advertising copywriter for a Syracuse advertising agency.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising from SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and received his Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1993.  He is admitted to both the New York bar and the United States Federal Court.  He is a member of the New York Bar Association and the NY Injured Workers Bar Association.  He has lectured about worker’s rights before union groups and has presented Continuing Legal Education talks on Workers’ Compensation Law and Procedures.  He is a past president of the Fayetteville Free Library and past Board member of the Spanish Action League.  He is also a founding member of the Emerald City Scottish Pipe band in Syracuse, NY.  But after suffering a thumb injury from aggressive bag pipe playing, and realizing that no one really knew if he was playing well or not, he stepped away from the band.

Shreya handles the Social Security Disability Department at Stanley Law. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2010. She has been representing Social Security Disability claimants since 2011 and has attended more than 1500 hearings before Administrative Law Judges. She has also worked on hundreds of appeals in the Federal District Courts within the Second, Third, and Seventh Circuits. She is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). She resides in Vestal, NY with her husband Amit and children Shanaya and Viaan. In her spare time, Shreya enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.

Robert Geyer

Robert Geyer

Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oswego State University and Cum Laude from Syracuse University College of Law. He initially worked as a Social Justice Fellow at the Syracuse University College of Law Legal Clinic. At the end of his fellowship, he began working with a prominent law firm representing employers and their insurance carriers in Workers’ Compensation Claims.

Jamie Richards

Jamie Richards

Jamie moved to Central NY in 2016 to attend Syracuse University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2019. She earned her BA in Criminology with a minor in Forensic Psychology from the Ontario Tech University.

Prior to joining Stanley Law, Jamie worked as an Assistant Public Defender representing indigent clients throughout the various stages of their cases. She also worked as an Associate Attorney primarily focusing on the defense of corporations sued in product liability matters. She is experienced in all stages of pretrial litigation and has experience negotiating with third parties.

Jamie appreciates the importance of diligently handling all cases and keeping clients updated on all significant developments of the case. Jamie cares about her clients and will go above and beyond to help them navigate through difficult times. Jamie enjoys travelling and spending time
with her dogs. In her spare time, she volunteers with local dog shelters and is a Volunteer Advocate Lawyer for Animal Abuse Court.
