Serving New York with Distinction in Criminal Defense, Civil Rights & Personal Injury Litigation

Konta & Georges P.C. is a Manhattan-based law firm offering experienced criminal defense, personal injury and civil rights representation. Our firm is named for its two partners, Adam Konta and Robert Georges. Both Adam and Robert are native New Yorkers with more than 25 years of combined legal experience.

Our firm also has two additional lawyers of counsel, Katherine E. Smith and Brian M. Dratch. Both bring diverse legal skills and backgrounds to the firm. Each of our attorneys has experience in both the public and private sectors.

One of the unique features of our criminal defense and civil rights practice is that all of our attorneys have served in roles that allowed them to see cases from more than one perspective — including the perspective of opposing counsel. Robert served as a prosecutor in the district attorney's office. Adam was a public defender. Katherine used to defend the city of New York in police misconduct and abuse cases. In addition to his other plaintiff-focused personal injury work, Brian has represented clients in cases asserting prisoners' rights and other important civil rights issues.
