Attorney Andrea Tarshus founded Tarshus Law Firm to provide business and legal guidance to entrepreneurs, businesses, business professionals, and other organizations throughout Western New York. With a decade of experience, Attorney Tarshus is well-versed in balancing legal needs with flexibility so businesses can keep moving forward.

Attorney Tarshus has worked with private and publicly traded companies engaged in a variety of industries, including audio video (AV), agriculture and farming, carpentry, commercial property management, distribution, engineering, fitness center management, healthcare, heavy equipment operation, media production, medical marijuana, products manufacturing, professional services, retail, technology, transportation and logistics, and many others.

Attorney Tarshus is experienced in developing and implementing an efficient corporate legal infrastructure, including regulatory compliance and risk reduction programs. Her approach involves engaging with staff at all levels and utilizing creative problem-solving to effectively promote the company’s business objectives, while mitigating risk and ensuring system-wide compliance. She creates customized templates, streamlines the contract execution process via electronic signature applications, and administers employee training in clear terms. She is adept at negotiating and drafting contracts, and has a keen focus on protecting the company against risky one-sided language and unfavorable business terms. This includes implementing SOPs for company governance and regulatory compliance, conducting training programs and audits, and providing legal guidance.

Tarshus Law Firm recently served as General Counsel for Stampede Global. There, her core objective was contract negotiations and execution with over 200 technology manufacturers and industry partners, including distribution contracts, IP-related documents, SaaS agreements, product manufacturing contracts, vendor contracts, non-stocking agreements, professional service agreements, NDAs, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, and other legal documents. She was often involved with designing and implementing business initiatives, such as new product development and marketing programs. In addition, she engaged with external counsel to litigate disputes, facilitate discovery procedures, and negotiate favorable settlements.
