Attorney Michael P. Rainboth

Attorney Rainboth is a founding partner of Coughlin, Rainboth, Murphy & Lown, P.A. in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He has concentrated his practice on representing seriously injured victims of negligence since 1993.

Attorney Rainboth received his undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1985 and in 1988 graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. Attorney Rainboth was a judicial law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court for one year and then started his career at Wiggin & Nourie in Manchester, New Hampshire primarily representing insurance companies from 1989 to 1993. Attorney Rainboth then changed his practice to focus on representing individuals rather than corporations and he moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire to co-found Coughlin & Rainboth in June, 1993. Attorney James E. Coughenour

Attorney Coughenour is a partner of Rainboth, Murphy & Lown and his areas of concentration are Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation. He regularly appears in Courts throughout New Hampshire and Maine, but spends the majority of his time appearing before the NH Department of Labor. Attorney Coughenour has built a reputation for vigorous and compassionate advocacy on behalf of his clients and has been recognized by SuperLawyers as a "Rising Star" in the field of workers' compensation since 2019.

Attorney Coughenour graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Justice Studies. While attending UNH during the day, Attorney Coughenour attended the NH Police Academy at night. He earned his Police Certificate in 2007 and went on to work as an auxiliary police officer for the City of Portsmouth. During this time, Amanda gained litigation experience in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
