Attorney Reza Athari

Reza Athari is a member of the California bar and an international lawyer. He practiced law outside the United States prior to admission to the California bar in 1996. His total practice as an attorney exceeds 25 years. Mr. Athari's passion is immigration law. This passion has allowed Mr. Athari to dedicate himself to help immigrant families and businesses. He started Reza Athari and Associates as a solo practitioner in 1997. Ever since, his practice has grown steadily throughout the years, and now is one of the leading law offices in the field of immigration law in Las Vegas, Nevada and throughout the United States. His offices became a multi-jurisdictional law firm in 2003 and the firms practice area has extended to other legal matters in Nevada and California including family, criminal and personal injury. 

In September 2004, Mr. Athari successfully applied and passed the exams for legal specialization and became a Certified Specialist in immigration law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. He provides immigration and other federal law-based services throughout the United States including his offices in Nevada, California, and Utah.

Attorney James Mills

James Mills is an associate at Reza Athari & Associates. Mr. Mills graduated with a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey in May 1997. After law school, Mr. Mills headed the immigration department of several large, multinational corporations. Mr. Mills headed the Employability Status Assistance Program with Catholic Charities in Florida before relocating to Las Vegas, NV and working at Reza Athari & Associates. 

Mr. Mills has focused on the field of immigration law for the majority of his career and has very broad experience in the field. Mr. Mills has experience in Business and Family Immigration, Naturalization, Immigration Consequences of Crimes, Humanitarian and other Visas, Consular Processing, in court Deportation and Removal Defense, Labor Certifications, Asylum, Religious Visas, Cuban Adjustment, and Waivers.

Attorney Luther Snavely

Luther Snavely is a senior associate at Reza Athari & Associates. He began working for the firm in December of 2016. Mr. Snavely is a member of the Nevada Bar and has practiced law in Nevada since 1994. He received his B.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Snavely has over twenty-two years of experience practicing in all areas of immigration law. He is also experienced in a diverse range of other areas of law including personal injury, employment and civil rights law. 

In particular, Mr. Snavely focuses on removal defense before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. District Courts and U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal. 

Mr. Snavely has worked hard for over two decades to provide excellent legal representation to our southern Nevada community. He is proud to be a part of the team at Reza Athari & Associates and looks forward to helping the firm to continue its long tradition of providing outstanding legal services to the people of southern Nevada and to clients across the entire nation.

Attorney Maria Milano

Maria L. Milano ,Esq., is a summa cum laude graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University where she received her B.A. in International Relations. She Went on to obtain her juris doctorate with a concentration in International Law from Syracuse University College of Law and was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 1999.

After Moving to Las Vegas, Ms. Milano clerked for Senior Judge, Carl Christensen, at the Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division. Following her clerkship, Ms. Milano went on to practice in the fields of personal injury, family law and criminal law, handling such matters as automobile collisions, wrongful deaths, slip and falls, DUI, divorce, separations, child custody, child support, adoption, guardianship, and paternity cases. ​

Ms. Milano is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Nevada and the Clark County Bar Association.

Attorney Gary S. Fink

Gary S. Fink received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  As an undergraduate, Mr. Fink also studied European History and Architecture at New College, Oxford University in Oxford, England. 

Mr. Fink has been a member of the Nevada Bar in good standing since 2002, and has received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review (the highest rating).  His primary areas of practice include civil litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, and consumer bankruptcy law.  Mr. Fink has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials, and has represented many clients in court mandated and private mediations and arbitrations.
