At Daniel Ortiz Law Offices, we represent immigrants and those facing criminal charges and family law matters in Greater Atlanta. Our Roswell law office has represented Georgia clients in state courts and against federal agencies. Whether you are worried about your legal status in America or the preservation of your liberty, we are ready to fight for you.
Our team truly believes diversity makes America stronger, and we live that example at our law office. We also believe that immigrants deserve fair opportunities to pursue legal paths to residency and citizenship. Our goal is to help immigrants find and navigate those paths to live and work in America.
We assist both immigrants and citizens with fighting criminal accusations. We fight hard to prove your innocence, and failing that, to get you the lightest sentence possible. Our team is especially committed to ensuring you spend as little time behind bars as possible - preferably none.
Our lead attorney speaks both English and Spanish. Having several experienced attorneys on board also allows us to give each case the one-on-one attention they deserve. We do everything we possibly can to ensure you get the desired outcome for your case.

Tereza Kucerova is an Associate Attorney with Law Offices of Daniel J. Ortiz. Her practice consists of family law cases, including divorces (both contested and uncontested), issues surrounding child custody and child support, legitimation, name changes, and birth certificate amendments, just to name a few. She practices in courts throughout Metro Atlanta and all across Georgia.

Tereza went to Georgia State University and got her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2013. Tereza took a few years off school to make money to go to law school, she worked hard in the restaurant and hospitality industry to continue pursuing her dream to become an attorney.
Tereza was born in the Czech Republic and, as an immigrant herself, she did not know English when she first came to the United States. As she knew she wanted to be a lawyer from the time she was a child in the Czech Republic, she was never going to let that language barrier stop her.
In her free time, Tereza likes to cook, hike in the woods with her German Shepherd dog, and go to the gym. She always looks forward to helping the immigrant community as she went through the process herself.
