Attorney R. Leslie Waycaster, Jr.

Mr. Waycaster has been practicing law in Dalton, Georgia since July, 1980. He attended undergraduate school at Georgia State University and law school at the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia trial and appellate courts. He is also admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Northern District of Georgia, Eleventh and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Waycaster has an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell, the preeminent lawyer rating service in the United States. An “AV” rating is the highest rating in both professional ability and ethics. Mr. Waycaster has served as the President of the Conasauga Judicial Circuit Bar Association, as well as a Regional Vice-President for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He also served on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors.

Mr. Waycaster focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury (vehicle collisions, defective products, professional malpractice and slip and fall), business litigation and mediation. He has tried approximately 100 jury trials and handled cases in excess of twenty-five (25) Georgia counties. He has also tried cases in Federal Court in Rome, Atlanta and Gainesville, Georgia.
