A Reputation For Success

I understand that being involved in a legal matter, whether it’s a criminal case, a family law case or even a probate matter, can be incredibly stressful. My aim is to resolve my clients’ cases fairly and efficiently to allow them to move forward with their lives.

With over a decade of practice and a commitment to serving the residents of Tallahassee, I have in-depth knowledge and experience in both criminal and civil law. I put my skills to work in each and every case that I handle, giving each client personal service and attention. My method of handling cases includes coordinating closely with my clients and making sure that they understand the facts and law of their case and the different options to resolve the matter. I prep each case as though it will go to trial, giving me an advantage over attorneys who assume that a case will settle. My aggressive approach helps my clients win cases and reach the outcome that they want.

Attorney Toby Norris

Toby graduated with honors from Florida State University in 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. He went on to earn his law degree from Florida State University College in 2003, after which he joined the law firm of Bajoczky & Fournier. After being named partner in 2009, Toby joined a local law firm to continue to hone his skills as a top Tallahassee criminal defense and family law attorney. In 2016, Toby formed Norris Law to continue his practice of aggressively defending his clients in court and beyond.

A regular in the Tallahassee courts, Toby has tried dozens of criminal cases before juries. He has represented clients in courts across Florida, including the First District Court of Appeals and in federal court. Several of Mr. Norris’ opinions have been published by the First District Court of Appeals. His criminal law experience includes defending clients in DUI and traffic cases, drug offenses, theft and embezzlement, internet offenses, major crimes and appeals.

In addition to his skill at handling criminal defense cases, Toby has litigated countless cases involving family law, personal injury and civil disputes. He is proficient at all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, paternity, child support and alimony.

His experience allows him to provide comprehensive legal services to his clients, such as litigation of personal injury cases (slip and falls, car accidents, product liability cases), civil disputes (for both individuals and businesses) and probate matters (last will and testaments, health care directives and powers of attorney). His clients can rest easy knowing that Toby is capable of handling all of their legal needs.
