Thurman & Phillips, P.C. (the “Firm”) was founded in 1976 by Michael B. Thurman and Edmund P. Phillips. Although the Firm has had many opportunities to expand beyond its present size, the founders elected to control the Firm’s size and areas of practice to maintain a small firm atmosphere that emphasizes personal relationships and trust between the Firm’s clients and their attorney. The Firm has selectively restricted its primary areas of practice to community associations, mechanic’s liens, creditor’s rights, litigation, business and corporate law. The Firm is AV rated, which is the highest rating bestowed by Martindale-Hubbell on those law firms and attorneys considered to have “Very High to Preeminent Legal Ability” with the highest standard of ethical and professional conduct.
