Attorney Profiles

Attorney Autumn Scardina

After a decade of successfully representing large corporations and governmental entities as a trial attorney, she opened Scardina Family Law to seize the opportunity to apply her passion for advocacy, tenacity for problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills to help improve the lives of individuals in a more direct way.

Autumn Scardina's legal career began in 2004 when she graduated at the top of her class from the University of Southern California Law School. After graduation, she went to work as an associate with a litigation boutique in Los Angeles named Epstein, Turner & Weiss, P.C. As with most small firms, necessity forced her to assume a large role in all aspects of litigation from the very first day. As she strived through what the founding partner referred to as a "baptism of fire," she gained experience beyond her years and earned the admiration of her clients, coworkers, and colleagues. Her work as a civil litigator focused on representing large mortgage lenders and exposed her to a wide variety of complex financial transactions.

In 2008, Autumn moved to Colorado and became an Assistant County Attorney for Adams County, where she dedicated herself to serving the public in a variety of juvenile and family law matters before state and federal courts. As an attorney representing the Adams County Human Services Department, Autumn gained extensive experience handling dependency and neglect cases, juvenile delinquency matters and child support cases. Together with a team of legal assistants and social workers, she established, modified and enforced hundreds of child support and child placement orders each year. Managing such a high volume caseload and working with such a diverse group of people from various socio-economic and educational backgrounds reinforced her strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills. While she is tenacious in her representation, she always strives to empathize with the people behind the allegations and by treating everyone with respect and dignity, she works to create effective and efficient resolutions that address the unique circumstances of each case.

Autumn's passion is helping others. Having recently lived through a period of tremendous personal change, her greatest satisfaction is in seeing others through difficult and emotional challenges and helping them thrive in spite of what can feel like overwhelming circumstance. Her mission is to show her clients that we are stronger than everything they taught us that we should fear.

I consulted with Ms. Scardina about a possibly complicated case involving international issues. She was prompt to respond to my request. She seemed very familiar with international interactions. During the consultation, she was patient to listen to my complicated long story, and she gave me concise feedback. She was quick to focus on my goals, the possible outcomes, and my options. Instead of securing business, she was very honest to tell me lower cost resources in case I needed them in the future. When I talked with her, I felt that her focus was on what I wanted, not her personal agenda. I am very impressed with her. I had had an attorney/firm that sucked me dry and did not have my best in heart. Ms. Scardina was a refreshing contrast, and I feel that I can trust her. I have not hired her because I have not decided what I want to do with my case, but she is certainly on my go-to list.

I'm writing this review because I firmly believe that Autumn and her team do an exceptional job. My divorce case is quite difficult and this team has worked diligently to see that my family and I get the support we need and deserve. Autumn is very personable. On days when I feel like everything is crumbling down. Autumn comes in and gives me that one example that makes everything clear and my worries subside. I enjoy working with her, Autumn and her team are trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable and have kept me informed in every step during this long process. I highly recommend Scardina Family Law for your divorce matters.

Autumn is a very skilled and experienced practitioner. I've had the pleasure of working with her on various cases over the years. She has a compassionate and caring way about her. It is obvious that she is committed to achieving the absolute best result for clients each and every time. Without hesitation, I endorse this attorney's work.

Autumn Scardina was an associate of our litigation firm for 3 years. We never before, and have not since, had a more industrious, creative and persistent litigator. If I had need for my own representation, Autumn is where I’d turn.

I had a very unique case. I interviewed several Attorneys before choosing the Scardina"s. I came to them very broken and beat down by my situation, they immediately made me feel like I wasn't alone in my case. There were numerous times throughout the process that I was ready to throw in the towel, but Autumn's good council kept me hanging in there. Then when I read how Todd drafted the Joint trial management Cert. I knew I had the right firm. The final result of my case turned out better than I ever expected! Thank you Todd and Autumn.

5 star Autumn and Todd are out of this world phenomenal. I am so very thankful to have had such an amazing team by my side through a very tiring and exhausting battle. Not only do I recommend this firm.... I would not choose anyone else! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from my family to yours.... You're the best!
