Matthew A. Kentner, Esq.

Matthew A. Kentner is a founding member of Kentner Wyatt, LLC. Matt began his career with David A. Kraft and Associates, LLC where he specialized in both commercial and consumer collections. He has represented creditors in over 2000 cases and knows the ins and outs of how creditors think and negotiate.

Matt received his degree in Entertainment Management with an emphasis in Sports Management from Missouri State University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the Vice President of the Entertainment Management Association his senior year. Matt is barred in the states of Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association.

Matt grew up on a small dairy farm outside of Lamar, Missouri. He played 3 sports in high school and still loves to be involved in anything competitive. Matt is a part owner (and skater) of Fountain City Roller Derby, a co-ed roller derby league based in Independence. Matt also enjoys weight-lifting, competing in competitions such as the Tough Mudder, traveling, and spending time with his four nephews and nieces. In the Fall of 2015, Matt will begin teaching Sport Law at Rockhurst Unversity to undergraduate students.

Lindsey M. Wyatt, Esq.

Lindsey M. Wyatt is a founding member of Kentner Wyatt, LLC. Lindsey began her career with the Kansas City firm of Wagoner Maxcy Westbrook, P.C., where she specialized in the practice area of consumer bankruptcy, both personal and small business. Having represented over 1000 debtors in both Kansas and Missouri she has vast experience in all aspects and intricacies in the field of bankruptcy.

Lindsey received her degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology from University of Central Missouri in 2005 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her college years she was active in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and the National Criminal Justice Honors Society. Lindsey graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and became licensed in Missouri in 2008. While in law school, Lindsey became interested in bankruptcy law during her internship with the Honorable Dennis R. Dow, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for Western District of Missouri. Lindsey was on the Dean’s List for her academic achievements.

Lindsey is licensed to practice law in Missouri state court, and all Missouri and Kansas federal courts.Lindsey continues to practice in the area consumer bankruptcy, both personal and small business. She also serves clients in the areas of immigration, traffic, and collection defense/debt settlement.

Originally from Columbia Missouri, and always a die-hard Tiger fan, Lindsey lives in Brookside with her two Labradors, Jack and Albert. In 2010 Lindsey became a member of a local roller derby league, Dead Girl Derby. After playing for the Deadly Sirens for one season she retired as a skater to coach the Shotgun Shelia’s, another team in the league. Lindsey also enjoys being a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City program. She has been matched with her Little Brother for five years and looks forward totheir weekly get-togethers. In her free time Lindsey enjoys being an aunt to her four nephews, the outdoors, golfing, traveling, and socializing with friends and family.
