J. Michael Flanagan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1952. He is a 1973 cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his J. D. degree from Georgetown University Law center in 1976 and was a member of the Law & Policy in International Business staff. Mike was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1976. He is also admitted to the United States District court for the Eastern and Middle Districts as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has tried and arbitrated countless numbers of civil cases in his more than thirty (30) years of practice.
Mike has lectured on insurance and liability matters for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies, Conestoga Title College and the Lancaster Bar Association as well as other defense organizations. He has been appointed by the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas to the Chairmen's List for Judicial Arbitrations. Mike has also served the community as the longest serving Commissioner in Manheim Township, as well as service on the Board of Directors of the Lancaster Farmland Trust and Manheim Township Authority.
Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Land Stewardship Committee of the Lancaster County Conservancy. The Conservancy preserves natural spaces "because clean air, fresh water and wild places are vital to all generations".
Lisa M. DiBernardo was born in Woodstock, New York in 1964 and received her J.D. degree from the Dickinson School of Law in 1989, where she was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, she graduated cum laude in 1986 from Bucknell University where she was an Academic All-American in Division I Softball. Lisa is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and has significant trial/arbitration experience in these and other arenas.
In addition to general liability, automobile, product liability, insurance coverage, fraud and arson/fire losses, Lisa has practiced extensively in the areas of construction defect cases, as well as underinsured/uninsured motorist arbitration. Over the years, she has lectured on myriad topics, both locally for the Lancaster Bar Association, and regionally, for PBI, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, and PaTLA. She has been appointed by the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas to the Chairmen’s List for Judicial Arbitrations, by virtue of her trial experience.
Jason P. McNicholl was born in Cornwall, New York in 1976. He graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia where he majored in English. He earned Academic All-American Honors and qualified as an individual participant for two Division III National Cross country Championships. Jason earned his J.D. degree from The Dickinson School of Law in 2002. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Over his career, Jason has acted solely as defense counsel in the areas of first and third party auto defense as well as general, premises liability and products liability. More recently, Jason spent two years as counsel at the branch legal office of a major American insurance company. He is also a member of the Lancaster Country Bar Association.
