Ms. Chen has worked in the legal field for 10 years prior to passing the State Bar exam. She worked under a Family Law Attorney and has hand's on experience assisting with cases. Working as a legal assistant has helped mold and educate her in the areas of law she now practices. After being admitted to the Bar in December, 2012, Ms. Chen opened her own practice in January, 2013.

Ms. Chen is a volunteer attorney at the Free Clinic of Simi Valley and has acted as a mediator for the Ventura Center for Dispute Settlement during law school.
