Randy J. Harvey is admitted to practice law in Oregon and California, including Oregon District Federal Court, California Eastern District Federal Court, California Northern District Federal Court and California Central District Federal Court. Randy has a PhD. in Education Policy and Management, a Masters in Education, and two bachelor degrees in addition to his Juris Doctorate.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Randy had thirty-years of experience in education, including holding positions as a human resource director, middle school principal, special education director, elementary principal and teacher. Randy began his law practice in California (2008) and recently added Oregon (2011) to his practice. He works from offices in Lake Oswego, Eugene and Sacramento.
Randy currently represents clients Oregon and California. Randy continues to represent small businesses, business owners and employees in public and private sectors. Additionally, Randy also practices administrative law and represents professional license holders in their conflicts with state and federal agencies utilizing their respective administrative procedures acts.
Randy has represented clients in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, in arbitration’s and meditations. He is a member of the State Bars for Oregon and California, Multnomah County Bar, Lane County Bar, and the Sacramento County Bar as well as the American Association of Justice, and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
Randy is a member of the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce, the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and the Eugene Chamber of Commerce. He is a past Ambassador for the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to trial work he practices estate planning and probate, emphasizing work with California and Oregon probate conflicts involving separate and community property issue presented in Oregon probate cases.
Randy is a family man. In 2013, Randy was selected as Oregon Live’s “Best Dad Ever” after being nominated by one of his children. He has been married to his wife for 39 years, father of four, and grandfather of seven. He is down to earth and gets down to business representing the hardworking clients he represents.
In 2004 he won the prestigious Toastmaster International World Championship of Public speaking competing among 25,000 other contestants and continues to speak professionally on topics important to individuals, businesses, business owners, executives and employers.
