Minneapolis, Minnesota Family Law Attorneys Kurzman & Grant Case
Examples as Quoted by Attorneys Kurzman & Grant: - "Jordan/Scott County Sex Ring," successfully representing Law Enforcement Officers and spouses. False allegations of sexual abuse involving matters proceeding simultaneously in Criminal Court, Family Court, Juvenile Court. Dismissal of all charges, reuniting of parents and their children achieved through winning the various trials in different courts, followed by civil litigation for damages against the false accusers and their co-conspirators.
- Our client, a Brazilian model who actually lived only a few months with her now ex-husband, was awarded maintenance of $24,000, $45,000 attorneys fees, all of her possessions shipped back to Brazil at husband’s expense, an additional $10,000 in lieu of other property and a $46,246 lien against husband’s real estate, among other things.
- Our client, a Certified Financial Planner, was accused of sexually and physically abusing his daughter and son. His now ex-wife sought full custody, limited supervised visitation for him, life-long maintenance and over $100,000.00 in attorneys fees. She lost— his children were restored to him, she was ordered to get a job and to pay her own attorneys fees.
- Our client, an extremely wealthy businessman, failed to get his model wife to sign a pre-nuptial (ante-nuptial) agreement until after they married, normally something that would invalidate that agreement. She wanted one-half of his accumulated wealth, life long maintenance and all of her attorney’s fees. After being deposed, she settled for less than she would have received under the pre-nuptial agreement….1/10 of his estate, no maintenance and she paid her own attorney’s fees.
- Our client, an ex-felon and former drug abuser, who entered treatment and became a wealthy businessman, agreed before the litigation “heated up” to give custody of his daughter to his wife. She embarked on a campaign to “destroy” him through harassment, extortion and lies. She tried to use withholding visitation with the daughter to extract vast sums of money from him so that she never had to work and tried to get him to pay all of her attorney’s fees. He obtained custody of his daughter, retained his businesses, had her pay for her own attorney’s fees and she is being ordered to get a job.
