Tad Nelson, Attorney

Attorney Tad Nelson is a native Texan and a lifelong resident of the Houston/Galveston area. Mr. Nelson did his undergraduate work at the University of Texas in Austin before pursuing his legal education in Michigan, where he graduated in 1991 with his Juris Doctor degree. Later in 1991, after successfully completing the Texas State Bar Examination, Mr. Nelson was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. He is authorized to practice in all the state courts in Texas, including the Texas Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition to these professional affiliations, Mr. Nelson holds membership in the following organizations:

He is a regular guest on national television shows, ranging from the O'Reilly Factor, CourtTV as well as Fox News and he is an occasional commentator for CNN.

Mr. Nelson is also extremely active in the community. A member of the City Council of League City, he is Past President of the Gulf Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters, and has served on its Board of Directors since 1999. Actively involved in the Galveston Rotary Club and the League City Lions Club, Mr. Nelson is also a sponsor for "Bowl for Kids Sake," the "Meals on Wheels" yearly Christmas funds drive, The "Yagas Wild Game Dinner," and "The Village Fair."
