J. Richard Kulerski, Attorney

Illinois family Attorney J. Richard Kulerski is a divorce trial lawyer with over 40 years of courtroom experience and a staunch advocate of the Collaborative Law Process and newer non-court settlement techniques that save divorcing spouses both money and time. Kulerski received advanced training in Negotiation (1999), Advanced Mediation (2000) and Advanced Negotiation (2001) at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

"I am J. Richard Kulerski. I have practiced divorce and family law in the Chicago area for the past 43 years. Thank you for allowing me to share this website's information with you.

Personally, I think divorce wars are a waste, and that spouses should do everything they can to settle out-of-court. And I'm offering my help.

I am a Harvard Law trained mediator and settlement negotiator and the emphasis of my practice is on helping clients to manage their divorces and keep them quick, smooth and inexpensive.

If you have any questions about divorce or about your options, either now or in the future, I invite you to call and ask to speak to me. There is no charge for the phone call and I promise there will be no commercials or pressure put on you to hire me, or to file papers, or anything!

If I am unavailable when you call, my assistant will give you my cell phone number, or will set up a phone appointment that suits both of our schedules. I welcome your call and will speak with you personally, in total confidence and secrecy.

There is one last thing I want to say. I have just written a book and I am super excited about it. The feedback from the editors, etc. has been overwhelming. Advance (and perhaps partially unedited) copies will be available via PDF/PayPal by June 15, 2006.

It's called "See You Later, Litigator" and it is the first book EVER to actually tell divorcing spouses what to say and do (and not say and do!) if they hope to persuade the other to settle before things get expensive.

I am talking about EXACTLY what to say and do . . . a sort of script, if you will. It combines four decades of experience with some top notch (and often surprising) professional negotiation tips.

I hope "See You Later, Litigator" will be of help to you or to someone you care about."
