It Pays to Advertise with LawInfo
Increase your firm's credibility by receiving LawInfo's stamp of approval: our Lead Counsel Rating. LawInfo's Lead Counsel Program helps consumers and businesses find qualified legal representation, confirms your solid reputation, and tells your clients that you are in good standing with the courts and your peers.
LawInfo developed its Lead Counsel Program in 1996 in order to provide a simple, convenient, and reliable way for both consumers and businesses to find qualified legal representation they can count on. Since that time, thousands of LawInfo visitors have sought out the services of Lead Counsel rated attorneys to help with their legal matters.
To become a member and earn the Lead Counsel designation, an attorney must receive multiple peer recommendations advocating his or her inclusion into the program. This is a key component in our screening and selection process. We verify every Lead Counsel candidate's application, and check all references. Additionally, LawInfo contacts the state bar to make sure there have never been disciplinary sanctions taken against the applicant. Should LawInfo discover disciplinary sanctions, the applicant does not receive Lead Counsel Member designation.
Listings are exclusive and limited to only four panel positions per practice area within a specific area code. This helps to support our primary purpose to present the best qualified attorneys and law firms in all geographic locations.
Many Lead Counsel Member attorneys hold official positions in renowned legal organizations and occupy positions on established professional boards. Additionally, many have won awards, authored articles and books, been recognized by their Bar Associations, and have played, and continue to play important roles in their communities.
Although the Lead Counsel Program is not an attorney referral service, LawInfo takes the Lead Counsel Program qualification process seriously and relies on attorney applicants, attorney peers (references), and attorney members to do the same. Members commit to notifying LawInfo immediately should any status change in their practices that may make them ineligible for continuation in The Lead Counsel Program.
