I represented a young woman who had been charged with six felonies. It was one of my first jobs out of law school. The jury found her innocent on all six counts and she left the courtroom a free woman.
In another criminal case, my client wrote a letter to his employer that was very moving as he described how he had several attorneys before one was assigned to his case and how I was the only one who had seen him in jail, listened to him, and had actually worked for him on his behalf. This meant a lot to me.
We recently won an appeal on a penalty abatement for a client from the IRS for over $22,000 in penalty abatement and the abatement on interest charged for each penalty. We were able to qualify a client for an offer in compromise with the IRS; she owed $40,000.00 and I was able to get it settled for only $400.00.
