Practicing Exclusively in the Area of Family Law for Over Twenty Years
I have been practicing exclusively in the area of family law for twenty-four years. I handle all aspects of family law including divorce, division of property, custody and visitation, child support and spousal support, modifications to custody and support orders, and domestic violence restraining orders. In addition, I prepare and review prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
I have been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California since 1999. In order to be certified as a Family Law Specialist in California, an attorney must demonstrate a high level of experience in the specialty field, pass a rigorous written examination, fulfill ongoing education requirements and be favorably evaluated by judges and other attorneys familiar with their work. Only a small percentage of practicing family law attorneys in California receives such a certification.
I am effective in guiding my clients through the divorce process and moving it toward resolution. When I first meet with a client, they often feel like their situation is unmanageable and chaotic. By educating them about the legal system and their rights, we create a structure for moving the matter toward resolution. This process provides stability for the client in an uncertain and confusing time of their life and allows them to begin to look to the future.

I understand how stressful a divorce can be. It impacts almost every aspect of a family’s life, especially when children are involved. I always advise my clients of the pros and cons of settling issues versus litigating them. I am known for her fair and logical approach to resolution of the various issues in my cases. I am always am thorough in preparing my cases, whether they are settled by agreement between the parties or resolved by a judge in court. I work hard to achieve the best results for my clients.
