May 27, 2011, San Antonio, Bexar County District Court five day trial, defended driver accused of intoxication assault after playing dominoes for hours, then fleeing the scene of the accident. Plaintiff sought $1,000,000 dollar punitive damage award, but the jury awarded only approximately $50,000.
March 16, 2011, Kerrville, Kerr County jury trial, defended driver ticketed by police for causing traffic accident while turning corner and obtained jury finding placing 49% negligence on the other driver effectively splitting the jury verdict.
February 17, 2011, San Antonio, Bexar County Small Claims trial to the Judge, defended driver that backed up onto street striking the other driver with the Judge splitting the negligence and awarding half of the damages sought.
December, 2010, Austin, Travis County Court jury trial, defended driver who turned in front of other driver with the police report faulting my driver and the jury awarding only the outstanding medical expenses and property damages.
October, 2010, Austin, Travis County jury trial, defended driver struck from the side when other driver cut corner causing property damage that the jury found was caused by the Defendant’s negligence.
January, 2010, Corpus Christi, Nueces County District Court jury trial for three weeks brought by an injured ventilator dependent quadripalegic relating to a refinery accident, attended and assisted in two partner litigation attorneys’ trial defense as well as responsible for many depositions and motions with a multi-million dollar award to the injured worker.
September, 2008, Laredo, Webb County jury trial, defended driver passing traffic on a paved shoulder when the other driver turned across the shoulder and obtained split negligence finding on each party, but able to prevent any evidence being presented of the other party’s damages and a zero verdict.
March, 2007, San Antonio, Bexar County District Court Jury Trial for a week defending a local theme park against a closed head injury claim from rollercoaster by sitting second chair to assist the primary attorney and receiving a defense verdict by the jury awarding nothing.
1997 – 2000 Houston, Harris County, three trials representing drivers accused of driving while intoxicated and able to get all three of the cases dismissed by the jury.
