I have been practicing law in San Mateo County for twenty years and am licensed to practice in all counties in California.  I attended Law School at Santa Clara University and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991 and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2011.

While personal injury is my practice focus, I also handle estate planning, stepparent adoptions and traffic violation matters. I primarily practice in San Mateo County (the San Francisco Bay Area), but I also can take cases in San Francisco, Alameda, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.  I have assisted with personal injury matters in Marin, Sonoma, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, San Benito, San Diego and Plumas counties.

While I have a fair amount of trial experience, I find about 95% of my client’s cases resolve prior to trial.  I do NOT take short cuts with my client’s cases. I am mindful of the cost and time involved in the litigation process and the frustration my clients can experience with it.  I do my best to reduce this frustration.  I am careful and mindful of my client’s personal health histories and object to any treatments or injuries not related to the subject matter injuries.  I keep my clients informed as to the process and any negotiations at every step.  My clients are always encouraged and welcome to contact me either by telephone, email or regular mail and I do my best to respond promptly.
