Attorney William Meek
Mr. Meek has extensive experience in many areas of the law but has now limited the areas he chose's to practice in. He accepts cases in Shasta, Tehama, Trinity and Siskiyou counties.
He was in a partnership in Redding from 1976 until 2006 at which time he opened his own office.
He has served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and has served as a temporary Judge in the Shasta County Superior Court.
Mr. Meek received his BS degree from La Sierra University with a major in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1969.
After law school he joined the tax department of Touche Ross a nation al CPA firm. In 1970 he was employed at Willians Frisbee & Ryan the predecessor of the Law Office of Daniel Zolkower. He remained with that firm until relocating to Redding in 1976. While at that firm he was primarily involved in personal injury defense litigation. During this time he was also appointed to be the Assistant General Counsel to American Fellowship Mutual Insurnance Company.
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Meek served for many years on school boards and church boards and has been appointed yearly to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Shasta County Public Library since 1991 by the Shasta County Board of Supervisors
