Since graduating from law school in 1981, Laurie Vogel's practice has concentrated employment and civil rights law, exclusively defending claims made against employers. This involves defending public and private sector employers against claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, Title VII and ADA violations, wage and hour violation, breach of express and implied contracts of employment and unemployment compensation. Ms. Vogel also works with employers to draft and revise employment applications and handbooks.
Her insurance defense practice relates to defending public sector entities against general liability (e.g., vehicular accidents; negligent care and maintenance) and employment claims.
