Jose Elortegui is a Miami criminal defense attorney who concentrates his practice in the area of criminal defense. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Elortegui was an Assistant State Public Defender where he defended all levels of crimes from misdemeanors to murder.

Over the past 20 years Mr. Elortegui has established a highly successful criminal defense trial practice in South Florida. He has extensive trial and courtroom experience which includes over 4000 cases defended and over 100 trials. Mr. Elortegui handles both state and federal cases. He is experienced in all felonies and misdemeanors including narcotics and drug trafficking, domestic crimes, sex offenses, homicide, fraud, theft and burglary charges, assault and battery, white collar crimes, bond hearings, arraignment, sealing and expunction of records, DUI and probation violations.

Jose Elortegui received his J.D. from Stetson Law School where he graduated Cum Laude.
