Attorney Howard Dawson has been practicing immigration law for over 30 years. He began his immigration journey by first sorting mail for the Citizenship branch of USCIS while in college. After attending the University of Madrid he returned to California and was a part-time Spanish interpreter for the Los Angeles Immigration Court while attending UCLA where he majored in Spanish. He then continued his education and studied law at Southwestern University School of Law. Upon becoming an attorney he immediately commenced practicing immigration law in the private sector, helping people to become lawful permanent residents and/or U.S. citizens of the U.S.

Mr. Dawson is very mindful of what USCIS officers, immigration judges and appellate bodies require, especially after having worked for the agency in the past.
