Attorney Allison L. Herr

Allison Herr is the founding member of the firm and has been licensed to practice law since 1990.  She was an Assistant State Attorney for the 10th Judicial District of Florida, where she was appointed to the Special Prosecutions Unit, emphasizing the prosecution of capital sex crimes.  In 1994, Ms. Herr moved to Nevada working as a law clerk in the Clark County Family Court for a year before moving into private practice.  She was appointed as an Alternate Hearing Master in the Family Court from 1996 to 2000, hearing cases involving child support, paternity, and juvenile truancy.  Ms. Herr is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Florida and Nevada, the federal court of Nevada, and the Supreme Court of the United States.  She has been a guest lecturer for seminars hosted by UNLV, the State Bar of Nevada, and National Business Institute.  Ms. Herr writes a public education blog on important issues in family law.  You can view her articles at www.PreventiveFamilyLaw.com.
