Manuel Flores Ledezma  v. Gonzalez,  415 F.3d 375, 380  (5th Cir. 2005)
The first case to interpret the real ID Act in the 5th  Circuit

Perez-Pimentel v. Mukasey, 530 F.3d 321 (5th Cir. 2008)

McCarthy  v.  Mukasey, 555 F.3d 459, 462 (5th Cir. 2009)

Most notably on his win before the U.S. Supreme Court of the U.S. in Dada v. Mukasey, 128 S. Ct. 2307, 2319 (2008).
Dada was no ordinary win.  This case changed the landscape and forced the Department of Justice and DHS to change their regulations regarding voluntary departures granted in immigration court.

Most recently, he had a second grant of certiorari before the Supreme Court of the US on a collaborative effort in Alexis v. Holder,  No. 09-955, Unpublished (June 21, 2010)

Testimonials

I contacted Mr. Gonzales via email and got a response within minutes. He is very reachable and excellent in communication. We went to see him on Friday and our green card application was in the mail by Monday. Great office staff. The fair pricing makes this law firm even more recommendable.

Immigration law is complex and changing rapidly, and our case was very complex, however Raed approached it in everyway possible. Our case/story was in the local press and T.V. all thanks to Raed. Our case stalled and ICE (immigration) would not budge even after Raed filed multiple petitions however Raed never gave up and through his hard work and support we got the news yesterday that immigrations has closed our case and they are not seeking deportation. Our lives have changed forever and the future looks very bright. If you want and attorney that will get results and find every avenue possible to win your case Raed is your man!

Mr. Gonzalez is highly recommended. He is very efficient, super helpful and he is a fighter. Mr. Gonzalez was very sincere and straight forward concerning our options, and he told us exactly what to expect. He went beyond and did everything to find a solution for having my father released from detention when he was not eligible for bond. He spoke to deportation officers, supervisors and government attorneys and filed a parole. Mr. Gonzalez and his team replied promptly to all questions and concerns. All phone calls and emails were promptly returned. He handled the case very professionally and he had a creative attitude at court. He was very considerate and willing to fight for us. I am very glad I found him and would highly recommend him to anyone with immigration issues. For my future immigration issues I sure hire him again. His professionalism was a great surprise to me after the previous unpleasant encounters with several attorneys.
