Humanitarian Parole
Humanitarian parole is used in urgent and extraordinary emergency situations to allow someone who would otherwise not be admissible into the United States entrance into the country for a temporary period of time.
This type of parole is granted on a temporary basis and only for urgent humanitarian reasons or there is a significant public benefit. The temporary period will be based on the length of the emergency or urgent situation.
