Automobile Lemon Law
When a person buys a car that turns out to have a defect he or she may be able to return the car to the seller under automobile lemon law in the state where the transaction occurred. State statutes vary regarding the time period in which the car must be returned and regarding the specific obligations of the seller. The automobile lemon law will also provide a list of reasons for which the car may be returned and in some cases reasons that do not apply.
