Technology law is practiced by an increasing number of attorneys. This area of law comprises both criminal law and practice as well as business law. Technology law exists at local, state, federal and international levels. As the Technology base grows and changes, these laws tend to change as well. The Internet is now a major technology-enabled marketplace. As such, law becomes an important part of safeguarding the economic activity that takes place. Law cannot cover every transaction, but in today’s world, in regions where there is little local or national technology law, it is more difficult for people to engage in Internet commerce.
