Verdict Lawyers

Verdict lawyers are trial attorneys who work on behalf of a client or the government to argue a case in favor of their client. Those who practice in litigation are often portrayed as master story-tellers who can influence a judge or jury through argumentative  brilliance. However, most cases in the civil court system settle before trial. In the criminal system, many cases are settled by plea agreement before ever getting to trial. So, the idea of star verdict lawyers may be more myth than fact.
