International Trade Lawyers

International trade comprises business transactions and trade agreements between people, businesses and governmental entities from different nations. International Trade issues nearly always implicate the laws of more than one country and often include trade issues relating to international treaties. Lawyers who practice in international trade law often specialize in one or more fields. These fields include the law of dumping and countervailing duties; the antitrust laws; the law related to intellectual property protection; the law related to national security and contracts and business law. International trade is also becoming a part of what is usually thought of as Internet Law as well, since so many online businesses now sell products and services to people from other countries.
