Report Identity Theft
To report identity theft a person should first contact all credit card companies and banks where they have an account. Second, the person is wise to review his or her credit report. Third, a person should contact the local police department and file a report. Fourth, a person should apply for new credit cards, bank cards and a new driver’s license. It is important to take each of these actions to properly report identity theft. After these steps have been taken, it may be wise to contact an attorney for additional legal advice.
