Lemon Law
Lemon law is the casual term for a state statute that allows people to return a car to the seller within a set time period because of a defect. Many attorneys take on dozens of lemon law cases because of their statutory nature. In other words, the cases may settle quickly because if the defect falls within the statutory provisions the seller has little recourse. Since the statutes provide for very specific procedures and time limits, attorneys who have mastered the process can provide fast, affordable results for clients.
