Labor Board
The labor board typically refers to the National labor Relations Board, a federal agency that deals with many aspects of the relationship between individuals and employers and between companies and unions. Many lawyers represent people and businesses before the NLRB, arbitrating cases on a wide range of issues. As a federal agency arbiter, the labor board has broad regulatory powers over people and businesses. Its chief task is to hear cases and determine how federal law and administrative rulings affect the rights of each party.
