LLC
LLC is a short-term for Limited Liability Company or Limited Liability Corporation. The LLC term is often used by business owners on letterhead, business cards and in business agreements. In many states, when a company is operating as an LLC it is required that the business place the LLC or limited liability company terms on all of these kinds of communications so that other parties know the business with whom they are dealing is an LLC.
