Federal Crimes Lawyers
A federal crime is an offense committed in violation of U.S. statutory or other law. An offense of this nature is prosecuted in the U.S. court system and the U.S. attorney is the prosecuting lawyer. The violation of some U.S. law carries state law penalties as well. This can lead to trials and convictions at both the state and U.S. levels. Federal crime convictions may be appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals and ultimately to the Supreme Court.
