Disability Lawyer
A disability lawyer litigates cases involving the issue of whether a person is entitled to compensation and benefits from a work-related injury or illness. Worker’s Compensation is a component to many cases. Other issues that may become involved, however, include whether the injury or illness occurred due to working conditions or while the person was engaged in work for the employer. Another primary issue with which a disability lawyer often must contend is the extent of the illness or injury. This is often a matter of the testimony of medical experts.
