Disability Attorney
A disability attorney counsels clients who have suffered an injury or illness that is work-related. He or she also litigates cases and/or assists the client through the Worker’s Compensation process. A disability attorney is usually a skilled litigator and experienced with the administrative process of a Worker’s Compensation case. Such lawyers are also well-versed in employing expert witnesses who can testify about the extent of an injury or illness and the long-term ramifications to the client.
